Talent Takes Root: Introducing the new Digital Vocational Training Center, the First Building to Rise in DAT Alierta
A large green atrium will be the heart of this innovative €10 million building, designed by Magén Arquitectos, which will train the professionals for our ecosystem.
A cutting-edge technology ecosystem is built on a solid foundation. And at DAT Alierta, that foundation is talent. That is why we are incredibly proud to announce a milestone that marks the beginning of our physical realization: the new Digital Vocational Training (FP) Center will be the first building to be constructed in the technology park.
This project is not just a statement of intent; it is a strategic €10 million investment in the next generation of experts who will bring our district to life. The Aragon Development Institute (IAF) has already launched the tender for its construction, which is estimated to take two years. The goal is for it to be completed by the end of 2027 or early 2028.
An Award-Winning Design for Innovation
The center’s design has been entrusted to Magén Arquitectos, the prestigious firm responsible for the award-winning new Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. Their proposal is a four-story building totaling 6,200 square meters of constructed space, including a 1,400 m² basement.
But the true star of the design is its central concept: a large atrium or green agora.
This space will not be a mere lobby, but the living heart of the center. Conceived as a public square, this agora will foster collaboration, meetings, and the exchange of ideas among students, teachers, and the companies within our ecosystem. It is architecture at the service of innovation, perfectly reflecting DAT Alierta’s philosophy of connectivity and synergy.
The Talent Pipeline for the DAT Alierta Ecosystem
This center, currently housed in the former CEOE headquarters, will move to its permanent home on our campus to become the primary talent pipeline for DAT Alierta.
Its strategic location will allow for total symbiosis with the other players in the district, such as CIRCE, ITA, Integra Tecnología, and Siemens. Students will not only learn the most in-demand digital skills, but they will do so while immersed in the very epicenter of innovation in Aragon.
The construction of the Digital Vocational Training Center is the first tangible piece of a puzzle that is revolutionizing the technology landscape. We are excited to begin this new phase, laying the first stone of a future built on talent.
